DNA OF DEFENCE
D.N.A. of Defence is a comprehensive look at the ‘soft skills’ of self-defence, which are frequently mentioned but rarely taught.
The course combines academic research in the fields of psychology and negotiation, with real life operational experiences; blending theory and practical applications. It answers questions such as “what am I allowed to do?”, and aims to provide the participants with a confidence to not only defend themselves and others, but also be confident in accounting for the actions they take. The course is set out similar to a 1st Aid course, whereby there is a discussion led theory session, followed by a practical scenario based session. In the former the participant will explore de-escalation tactics, what it means to neutralise a threat, and how to debrief; in the latter, their new found skills will be put to the test in a safe yet challenging environment, guided by our Lead Instructor.
This course is piloting across the U.K. through March, with dates in Manchester, Glasgow, and Brynmawr. There are also additional condensed versions being showcased at expositions throughout the year, inducing; The UKMAS; Kizen Expo 26; and the Southwest Martial Arts and Wellbeing Show. You can get your tickets or find out more at MartialLawDojo.com, get your tickets for the full courses at eventbrite.com searching Martial Law Dojo, or tickets to the expositions through their related websites.
